Privacy Policy

LoadAtlas (“we”, “us”) is a website performance measurement tool. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.
What we collect
Account data. On first launch the app creates an anonymous device account (a random token stored securely on your device). If you choose to sign in, we additionally store your email address and, for Sign in with Apple / Google, the identifier those providers share with us. Sign-in is optional.
Measurement data. When you measure a URL we store: the URL you entered (with any embedded credentials stripped before upload), raw browser timing entries for that page load, page structure evidence used by our audit rules (e.g. image sizes, redirects, console error counts), a preview screenshot of the loaded page, and metadata about your device (platform, OS version, device model, app version).
Network classification. Our servers classify the IP address each measurement arrived from (country, network operator, and whether it is a mobile, residential, datacenter, or VPN network). We do this to label your results honestly. We store the classification, not a log of your browsing.
Staging credentials (Team+ plans). If you provide HTTP basic-auth or form-login credentials for measuring a password-protected staging site, they are used on your device for that measurement. Credentials you explicitly save for scheduled monitoring are envelope-encrypted (AES-256-GCM) at rest, resolved only in worker memory, expire within 24 hours, and are redacted from logs and diagnostics.
Saved proxies. Proxy endpoints you save are stored encrypted on your device (Keychain / Android Keystore) and, if you enable sync, on our servers for your account.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive purchase state (product, expiry, status) from Apple/Google to unlock features — never your payment details.
What we do with it
- Produce your measurement reports. Analysis runs on our servers.
- AI summaries are generated by sending compressed, credential-free measurement evidence to Anthropic (our AI processor) under a data processing agreement. Your evidence is not used to train their models.
- Enforce plan limits (measurement counts, data budgets).
What we never do
- No advertising, no ad identifiers, no cross-app tracking.
- No sale or sharing of your data with data brokers.
- No collection of your device's location (network country is derived server-side from the connection IP of a measurement, not from GPS).
- No reading of your browsing outside the pages you explicitly measure.
Retention & deletion
Measurement history is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data in the app (Account → Delete account) or at load-atlas.com/delete-account; deletion completes within 30 days.
Infrastructure & processors
Data is processed on Railway (API, databases) and an S3-compatible object store (screenshots, artifacts), all encrypted in transit. Processors: Apple / Google (billing), Anthropic (AI report generation), our IP-classification data providers (receive only the connection IP).
